The app

CSV Desk runs entirely on your Mac.

Your file is never uploaded. The app is sandboxed with no network access, incoming or outgoing, so there is no server to upload it to.
The file you import is treated as read-only source. Saving asks where to write.
There is no account, no sign-in and no licence check.
The app collects no analytics and reports no usage.

The written summary and the plain English filter use Apple Intelligence, which runs on the device. Your data is not sent anywhere for either.

When you import a file, its rows are written to a database inside the app’s own sandbox container, under ~/Library/Containers/com.altshiftbase.CSVDesk/. That copy stays on your Mac. Importing another file replaces it.

This site

The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

If that changes, this page changes with it, and a consent banner appears before anything is set.

If you email [email protected], that message is kept as long as it takes to answer you. It is not added to a mailing list.
